How Vaults Work
Vaults = Collateral + Delegation + Slashing Logic
A vault accepts deposits, delegates stake across operators, and defines how slashing losses are distributed. Delegated vaults have a curator managing allocations — lower effort, but you trust the curator. Self-managed vaults give full control to the depositor — more flexibility, more responsibility.
More operators and networks means better diversification but higher total slash exposure. The key is finding the right balance between yield and risk for your collateral.
