Restaking Explained
Ethereum stakers lock 32 ETH to validate the beacon chain. EigenLayer says: "that same ETH can also secure other services." By opting in, restakers earn additional rewards from AVSs (Actively Validated Services) but agree to additional slashing conditions beyond Ethereum's own.

Two Ways to Restake
🔷 Native Restaking
Point your Ethereum validator's withdrawal credentials to the EigenPod contract. Your 32 ETH is restaked directly — no wrapping needed. Highest trust, but requires running a validator.
Requirements: Active ETH validator, withdrawal credentials → EigenPod
🟢 LST Restaking
Deposit liquid staking tokens (stETH, rETH, cbETH) into EigenLayer's StrategyManager. Simpler setup — just approve and deposit your LSTs. You keep your LST staking yield plus earn AVS rewards.
Requirements: Any supported LST (stETH, rETH, cbETH, etc.)
